The story of a charismatic leader, who forsakes his own people to realise his vision, is not only told through the lyrics of each song, but also through the atmosphere that the music creates. HOSTILE TAKEOVER utilises a deliberate pace, sludgy riffs and harrowing lead to create a sense of impending dread, JAWS OF LOVE is set rigidly to a stomping march of a rhythm, to conjure imagery of merciless, authoritarian rule, EXTREMINATE ALL THE BRUTES! flies rapidly through punk and death metal influenced sections, a backdrop for snarling, spitting vocals that embody the aggression and savagery of those broken by oppression, and then UTOPIAN BLUES is mournful, melancholy with acoustic guitar parts, melodic leads and cleanly-sung vocals.
