[BLOG] COVER-UP IS AN ART, THE TRUTH HIDES IN DARKNESS

A short update on our activities during the past 18 months or so…

Late last year, we were recording for a new release, when during one of our sessions, we were visited by two suit-wearing [REDACTED]. They wanted to talk to us about [REDACTED], a [REDACTED] that had apparently just been [REDACTED] nearby, by [REDACTED]; an [REDACTED]. They said they were offering us good folk of the British Wastes [REDACTED]and [REDACTED]in a [REDACTED]. It didn't sound like the sort of [REDACTED] that would inspire our usual tragic songwriting, so we turned them down. They left us with some [REDACTED] and we thought nothing more of it.

The next day, we returned to our studio from a night of heavy farming, to find that the [REDACTED] we'd been recording to were all [REDACTED]. We'd locked up the night before, only we had the key, and given the sudden and unusual nature of the visit from the [REDACTED]the day before, it seemed all too likely that they had [REDACTED].

Why they'd done it, we didn't yet know, but after thumbing through their [REDACTED] that we'd discarded the day before, we discovered that their [REDACTED]of [REDACTED]was only a few miles [REDACTED]. So, we packed our bags, shut up the studio and headed out across the wastes of the midlands, so that our recording may begin again.
